India's indigenously built Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, after more than three decades of work has finally been inducted into the Indian Air Force on Dec 20, 2013. It has single-seat, single engine, light weight, high agility supersonic fighter aircraft has speed of Mach 1.6. It will be replacing the recently retired MiG-21 aircraft.
