INDIAN AIRFORCE JOINED BY 'TEJAS'

India's indigenously built Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, after more than three decades of work has finally been inducted into the Indian Air Force on Dec 20, 2013. It has single-seat, single engine, light weight, high agility supersonic fighter aircraft has speed of Mach 1.6. It will be replacing the recently retired MiG-21 aircraft. India test fired its nuclear capable Agni-III ballistic missile with strike range of over 3,000 km from the odisha coast.
